- Incubator: infants flown under the care of our own neonatal and pediatric intensive care specialists
We handle all travel details before, during and after the flight
Before the flight:
- Complete physical assessment performed by our medical team to ensure that the patient's condition is stable enough for airline travel.
- An itinerary is carefully researched and developed to meet the specific needs of the patient.
- After itinerary is approved, we purchase airline tickets.
- Ground transportation arranged to and from airport by certified ambulance services we know and trust.
Airport/During flight:
- Airport check-in, security clearances, aircraft boarding and deplaning.
- Luksenberg medical escorts accompany/monitor patient at all times.
- All medical care, including the administering of medications and assistance with meals, hygiene, mobility, and other vital needs.
After the flight:
- All post trip details such as a post-trip medical assessment and a report to the receiving facility on the patient's current condition.
- We stay with the patient until he/she is in the capable hands of professionals at the receiving facility.
- Complete and submit all required paperwork.
- Follow up after surgery/treatment to see how the patient is doing.
